I agree that norton is a popular one. I was using Norton since it came with the antivirus package from my ISP. I use the image method because in one instance, I bought a hd with a larger capacity than what I had and instead of have to sit and back up file after file, I created the imaged, put the new hd in and threw in the windows cd and installed my image. Honestly, I use the windows backup and restore and create a system image of my pc.
Donna, It just kind of depends what you need. I have used alot of backup softwares but the best one till now is Acronis True Image! I would have to say Drop Box. I too have a similar setup - Memeo backup to a seagate external hdd. I haven't used it yet but what about Paragon Hard Disk Manager? Its free with Make Use Of reward points.
