This will find all cached versions of a file. Under Windows XP I have found dozens of cached versions of a single file. His Microsoft Word was set up to autosave every minute so there should have been many versions of this file. With Google desktop I found only two cached versions of this one file and they were empty also. No text. Same thing. No good copies. Is Vista screwing things up? I am doing the recovery on the boot drive, but I do not think that should matter. Any ideas? My customer would love it if he did not have to rewrite his document.
