Studio tools dual finish brush review

The lighter side is synthetic bristles and it is a bit firmer than the darker side which is made of natural bristles and is a bit wispier. Both the sides are cut at an angle which comes up to meet at the point on top. The brush is lightweight but does not feel cheap and fits comfortably in the hand. The bristles are firmly attached in the ferrule and I have not noticed any shedding so far. It also washes well and retains it shape. This brush is so versatile that it can do most of the steps of my makeup routine.

I love the dual side concept as I can use both sides interchangeable with different powders and know for sure which side I have used for what product next time I reach for the brush without having them mix together and get muddy. The size of this brush is perfect to get it into the angles of the face. I use the light side with firmer synthetic bristles to heavily apply powders like highlighter or for less pigmented blushes which I need to pack on heavily.

I use the other wispy natural hair side to lightly dust powder products like setting powder, strong pigmented blush which requires a light hand.

The pointed end of it also makes it great to blend out contour with. So I really wanted to love this brush. After seeing a MichellePhan 'barbie look' video, I was on the hunt for a cheap, yet nice quality stippling brush.

I saw this at target marked down from About reviewer 20 reviews. A definite "yes" on repurchased. I hope Studio Tools from Target doesn't discontinued making this brush. I got it from clearance a week ago.

I used it to apply liquid foundation and loving the Okay soooo, I'm amazed by this brush. This brush has performed far better than my and other duo Created with Sketch. Write Review. He asked if I wanted to go and I said no, but we went anyway. We got to the makeup section and saw the Sonia Kashuk highlighting brush, a dupe for the mac I have the and I love it, but was looking for an alternative to use for blushes and bronzers.

Almost half the price! Raymond said, "Aren't you glad we went to Target now? Not quite as soft as the though. More firm than the , so it applies products a bit more heavily.

Is it a good brush? Is it better than the ? For the price, it's a really good brush. If you come across it, I'd suggest checking it out. I would repurchase :. Labels: drugstore , Tools. My-My June 5, at PM. Maria Elizabeth June 5, at PM. Sofia June 6, at AM. Maria Elizabeth June 6, at PM.
